I am from DC so I am use to eating from the Red Hook Lobster Truck. When I ran into the Jack's Lobster Roll place on a whim in OC I was excited. I wish I could combine the two places rolls. I loved the actual lobster from Jack's a tid bit more than Red Hook but I hated the bread/roll from Jack's so I wish that Jack's had Red Hook's roll and vice versa. Jack's bread/roll was too brown for my taste and had no butter on it. that seasoning was too die for from Jack's. I will visit every time I go 2 OC and hopefully they can not brown/toast my bread/roll as much.

Stopped in 15 minutes prior to closing and Jack himself was there- he asked if we wanted our meal to go or to eat in and I raised the question of whether or not we could stay due to it almost being 7- he said he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon due to cleaning up so he let us enjoy our food. Simple menu, but the lobster roll cannot be beat with a meal price of just under $20 - cozy atmosphere and 5 star food!

The lobster roll is decent. Nice chunks of cold lobster with no fillers. They should put butter on toasted bun first. Adding the warm butter on top of the cold lobster crystallized the butter and it's less appealing. Of course there was old bay, which I sort of feel is a sin, but understand I'm in Maryland and they kill everything with old bay. Bun is sort of awkward because it's a thin, flat roll cut vertically. I've had better lobster rolls. However, service was very nice, restaurant is clean, and prices are decent.

An awesome find in OC thanks to Yelp! I would've never found this place otherwise. Jack, the owner, was so friendly and helpful and you can tell takes a lot of pride in his business. Love that! My husband and I split a roll and it was absolutely amazing. Next time we get our own! They are obviously a little more expensive than your average lunch, but considering it's lobster the price is not so bad. There are picnic tables inside for seating and the bathroom was clean (very important to me!). It's going to be one of my new staples in OC.

One of the few things in life I take seriously is lobster. If you are like me, and would revel in a no-nonsense, delicious lobster roll, do yourself a favor and stop in Jack's.

Delicious. Please bear in mind that I am no connoisseur in lobster rolls, but I can tell you that based on the lobster rolls here in NYC (which are wonderful in their own right), Jack's outclasses them at nearly half the price. The menu is limited, but then again with a name like Jack's Lobster Rolls, you're probably there for one thing. The rolls are heartily stuffed with meat, are nicely buttered, and the lobster is sprinkled with Old Bay, so if Old Bay isn't your thing, well.. you're in the wrong state. The location has a lot to be desired however; Jack's is located on a block with hardly any foot or car traffic, sandwiched between a main road and the Boardwalk, neither of which are conducive to the location. However if you're reading this, you've already fought most of the battle; make your way here next time you're in OCMD!

Amazing roll and the price is good. Enjoyed it a lot. Very friendly service. The place is clean and the decor is cute. The place has 3 large benches to accommodate many people. Definitely will come back with my family/friends next time when I am going to the beach again.

Came here after the beach, a great alternative to the food choices available on the boardwalk. Mid afternoon it wasn't crowded at all, I imagine most people are opting for fried dough or French fries for their beach snacks but those people are missing out. The lobster rolls at jacks are the only item on the menu (for the most part) and they're served up simple and fresh. These were some good lobster rolls; they had some of the biggest lumps of crab meat I've ever had, and you could tell most of it was from the tail. Really simple and delicious. Hopefully this place catches on because it's new and a great addition to the area. My only complaint was I wish there had been some coleslaw or other sides to go with my delicious roll - but I like to eat coleslaw with everything.

I loved the lobster roll. I loved the sweet toasted bun. I would have given it 5 stars had the lobster been slightly warmed, however I have never eaten an "authentic" Maine/Mass/New England lahbsta roll, so maybe it should be cool/cold. Overall? I am going back, it was delicious. Plus the owner seems to be a very nice guy who cares about his food and values the opinions of his customers.

Came here unexpectedly as we were walking back from the beach. I was so excited to spot this place because there are not to many restaurants in ocean city that advertise lobster rolls. After awhile the typical board walk food can get boring as well. My boyfriend and I split the lobster roll to hold us over until dinner. It was excellent! The perfect amount of lobster. [I hate when its doused in mayo] It definitely hit the spot and I would come back here again. However, I wish it stayed open as late as the rest of the boardwalk food it would be nice to have a late night lobster roll!

Best lobster roll I've ever had. Friendly service. Pretty expensive. It's a bit off the boardwalk down an alley, so keep looking if you're having a time finding it.

What else to say, nice chunks of fresh lobster, hot butter and a little bit of seasoning. One of the best lobster rolls that I've eaten! To boot, the owner is friendly and outgoing. My wife and I will definitely be back again before our vacation is over!

Just enjoyed a jack's lobster roll, I thought it was very good, the price was high but worth it. $18 for lobster roll, chips, pickles and drink. Owner was very nice and friendly. Will definitely go back.
